This policy explains what information Level & Ledger collects through levelandledgerco.com and how we use it.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us. When you fill out a form on this site, that usually means your name, business name, email, phone number and details about your business and books. If you email us, we receive whatever you include in your message.
The site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
- To reply to your request and prepare your Job Profit Snapshot or quote
- To provide bookkeeping services if you become a client
- To send the checklist or resource you asked for
We don't sell, rent or trade your information, and we don't add you to marketing lists you didn't ask for.
Who helps us run things
A few service providers handle information on our behalf, only to provide their service to us:
- Cloudflare hosts this website
- Google Workspace handles our email
- A form service delivers form submissions to our inbox
- Google Fonts serves the fonts this site uses, which means your browser connects to Google when pages load
Client financial information
If you become a client, the financial records and account access you share with us are covered by your engagement letter. We use view-only access wherever it's offered, use multi-factor sign-in on every account, and never put Social Security numbers, full account numbers or passwords into AI tools. How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information as long as needed to respond and follow up. Client records are kept as long as the engagement requires and as long as tax and recordkeeping rules call for.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we need to keep it for a legal or tax reason. Email office@levelandledgerco.com.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here with a new effective date.
